Current readings. Taylor test PH 7.5. TFTEST FC = 1. CC = 0. TA 190 CYA 40 ish + Calciium harness 0. Mostly concerned about the PH. I don't know how the pool store could screw that up that much! Water is clear and feels good.

I think you are correct. I do suspect I am either VERY close or on top of it now. it is sunny and I have only lost 3.5 fc and cc is lat a trace in about 4 hours. Pool is crystal clear. Again THANK YOU all for encouragement, etc. Pics soon (if I ever get done with the chore list).

So, after an hour and half I have lost 3 ppm chlorine. FC 17, CC .5. Getting there. Still going through chlorine pretty fast but slowing down.

Will do. Work has been getting in the way... so, 3:30 (after bumping to 20 ppm @ 11:30) FC9.5, CC .5. I should be able to check at a minimum every two hours for a bit. So chlorine is still going fast but the cc seems to moving down.
