    FC Usage?

The pollen will also consume some FC.

    FC Usage?

Just wanted to add and I forgot, I keep my CYA at 40. My pool is in full sun also and at the most I lose 3.5 FC a day. That's with water temps in the high 80's to 90. Are you seeing a fair amount of pollen ?

    Solar Covers

It makes them more manageable. I cut mine in half for this reason. Mine doesn't move around even with the pump running on low speed. On high speed it will start to spin.

    FC Usage?

Are you confident of your CYA level of 40 ? This time of the year and your water temp not that high you shouldn't be losing that much now. You passed the OCLT correct ?

    Solar Covers

You have to keep in mind your water will heat better on a nice hot sunny day with little wind with the cover off. The covers work best at retaining the heat at night that you would lose to evaporation. So when your done swimming for the night put the blanket on your water till your ready to...

Veterns..please help this novice feel better....!

It's hard to say how long it will take as every SLAM is different. Keep it at SLAM level, 35 ppm FC and it'll come around. POP. Pool Owner Patience !

New radiant pool owner with questions

Welcome to TFP ! Sometimes the gaskets need to swell up to make a good seal. I had the same problem and after a few days it stopped leaking. Give it a few days and see what happens. You can use some silicone if it won't stop on its own. Make sure all the screws are tight. Did you tighten them...

Need correct info regarding Pump size and filter size for AG pool

Yes it will be fine. Make sure your FC is range for your CYA level to prevent algae. Brushing the area that has seen algae if it gets poor circulation will help greatly also. You can also run the pump on high speed for an hour to help out.

    My SLAM is done!

Re: My SLAM readings so far..... You would think so but something is still consuming FC. It sounds to me that you let your FC fall below SLAM level for swimming. This could be dragging things out a bit. You can safely swim at SLAM level for the CYA level as long as the water is clear.

    High CYA

Get the bleach in there ASAP. I would target at least 7 for your FC and never below 4.

    My SLAM is done!

My SLAM readings so far..... Look for anywhere algae could be hiding. Ladder toy's things like that. Something in there is still consuming FC. Yes keep your SWG off for the OCLT. Make sure pump is running for it also. Brush also.
