Sorry about that. The sunlight makes the hose look grey. I took the wrap off the top cuz it didn't make a difference. Here is another pic. From skimmer -> 6' hose -> pump -> filter. I still have all the connections wrapped, plus I wrapped the bottom plug too.

Thanks for the reply. It is on the suction side before the pump. Motor is on the right pumping to the filter behind. I hooked it up yesterday and checked and there was no obstruction or cracks I can see. I store it in a shed so I check for nice and all was clear. Just so stumped. It makes...
