OB Fiberglass Pool in South Florida

Awesome writeup Tym2Fish. Not sure looking at this schematic but, make sure that power from your timer goes to both pump and SWG. Many articles here in TFP will warn you of this so that there is no way SWG can be on with pump off. If it does SWG will burn out. I say this cause I hooked mine...

Baquacil/CDX Conversion to Chlorine then SWG

OK. Conversion complete. I thought I would sum up my conversion with lessons learned since I learned so much from reading other peoples post and TFP experts. Again this is just my humble opinions. 1. Dump as much water out of your pool as possible and refill. Let rain water in over the winter...

Baquacil/CDX Conversion to Chlorine then SWG

Matt, my Circupool does the same thing. I test for salt after adding and then a couple more times and it came out 3700-3800. The Circupool SWG shows anywhere from 2800-3500. I am going to keep checking once a week, but since both numbers are in the correct range or very close I am not too...

Baquacil/CDX Conversion to Chlorine then SWG

Been watching mine and it does the same thing. It appears that it does not read salinity when it is not generating chlorine. So wait until the generate light comes on or like above go to 100% and it should start reading.

SWG is plumbed in and running. Was not difficult, just took awhile in order to let unions dry and align everything. I also had to extend the pipe coming out of the filter to fit the SWG in before it made the 90 degree turn into the ground and out to the poolPics attached). Also SWG is telling...

Just a reminder. Make sure you check salt levels prior to adding salt. Mine was already 1400. Not sure why but added what pool math said I should add to bring to 3500 and I am now at 3800 so SWG going in tonight.
