Pool Just Ordered. Need help in getting started

The 2 inches should not be a problem as long as the ground is level. Under my pool, I put a layer of foam (foam puzzle mats). Would highly recommend that, so you get a nice soft bottom. If you add that under the pool itself, that will also take some off the 2 inches.

Losing water at corners of intex ultraframe rectangular

Old tread, but maybe this can help someone. Use foam noddles is an easy fix

Is this intex pump overkill for my pool?

A larger pump is never a bad idea. I have a very small pool 4 x 2 x 1 m. and have also replaced with a larger sandfilter pump. The benefit is huge, because you get a lot higher turnover.

Just finished Intex Pool with Deck setup.

Thanks :) Got a few cheap "Handy-men" to come and help with the steel frame, which is just slightly higher than the pool itself (just under 1 cm). The biggest challenge was making the pool frame itself, as it had to go slightly into the pool (hide the org. frame) and also hold the weight of...

Just finished Intex Pool with Deck setup.

Finally finished our Intex Pool 4m x 2m x 1m setup with surrounding deck. Just wanted to show the result and process. Maybe can give some inspiration to others. Absolutely not the biggest pool in the world, but great to have in these stay home times and with 40 degrees outside.

"Stupid" questions about GFCI protection on Intex system

No Intex stuff here has the CFCI on the cords. Unfortunately :-(

Bad news: Rust. Good news: Time to upgrade.

Just about to setup a small metal frame pool from Intex and those rust pictures really worry me. Find it amazing it can rust that fast. How is the weather where you live? Could that be the reason? or is it simply just the salt water?

Pre-Rust Protection: Intex Prism Rectangular Frame Pool

Will be receiving and setting up my Intex Prism Frame Pool next week. Will be an all-around-year setup. Plan is to build a high-deck around it. Not knowing much about pools, I ordered a Saltwater system, but then found out that Intex Frame pools can have problems with rust, some only after 1-2...

"Stupid" questions about GFCI protection on Intex system

Thanks so much for your feedback. I have no idea how GFCI works, so great to hear you think it will be safe to use that plug.

"Stupid" questions about GFCI protection on Intex system

Since I am located in Thailand, my biggest worry about my new pool setup is the electrical part. I am pretty sure we do not have GFCI installed anywhere in our house and even if I got a guy to come and "fix" it, I would simply not trust the quality of the work. So I have been thinking about...

Place pool on blanket of Artificial grass?

Thanks a lot for your feedback. Looked at your pictures and like the idea about you putting the stone blocks for support under the artificial grass carpet. Think I will do the same. Just need to do some measuring now :-) Got to figure out the distance from pool to supporters
