New above-ground cement build (Thailand) Pump and Sandfilter advice needed...

Thanks. I wish it could have been a bit bigger, but it will be a great “play” pool and will fit perfectly into a part of my garden that I never use. Also enjoy it as a “DIY” project and at a total cost of only USD 4.500 it’s definitely worth it. Will post more pics of the progress.

Thanks so much for the reply. I ordered the set now and look forward to getting it hooked up and the pool done.

New above-ground cement build (Thailand) Pump and Sandfilter advice needed...

Hi In the process of building a "low budget" above ground cement pool (3,6 m x 4,8 m x 1,2 m) as a replacement for my old intex pool. I was actually planning on using my old Intex Sandfilter pump, but then saw a company here in Thailand selling "Complete sets", which would be super easy to...

Pool Just Ordered. Need help in getting started

The 2 inches should not be a problem as long as the ground is level. Under my pool, I put a layer of foam (foam puzzle mats). Would highly recommend that, so you get a nice soft bottom. If you add that under the pool itself, that will also take some off the 2 inches.

Losing water at corners of intex ultraframe rectangular

Old tread, but maybe this can help someone. Use foam noddles is an easy fix

Is this intex pump overkill for my pool?

A larger pump is never a bad idea. I have a very small pool 4 x 2 x 1 m. and have also replaced with a larger sandfilter pump. The benefit is huge, because you get a lot higher turnover.

Just finished Intex Pool with Deck setup.

Thanks :) Got a few cheap "Handy-men" to come and help with the steel frame, which is just slightly higher than the pool itself (just under 1 cm). The biggest challenge was making the pool frame itself, as it had to go slightly into the pool (hide the org. frame) and also hold the weight of...

Just finished Intex Pool with Deck setup.

Finally finished our Intex Pool 4m x 2m x 1m setup with surrounding deck. Just wanted to show the result and process. Maybe can give some inspiration to others. Absolutely not the biggest pool in the world, but great to have in these stay home times and with 40 degrees outside.
