    New Spa Owner

Thanks, I have a question about my CYA level. Since I have a SWG in my swimspa, should I be aiming for a CYA level of 70-80 as recommended by the chart, or should I be aiming for 30 like in the Dichlor to Bleach article? Considering that the Swim Spa will have a cover on it when not in use.

Concerns About starting the 2017 season, SWG and Borates

Yes, I used the trouble shoot guide that came with the owner manual, and I also found the technician manual on the internet. Both seem to suggest a problem with the cell.

Concerns About starting the 2017 season, SWG and Borates

All the functions of the control board seemed to work properly. Lights, %control, temperature, etc all seemed to be normal. The only thing wrong was the constant Red light, which in turn turned off the cell. I also noticed that when the Red light was on. The Salt ppm on the control board...

Algae again - no clue where to go from here....

Hi Shawnra, Simply, Algae will not grow in a pool that has proper FC level according to CYA, So of course there must be something wrong and we will try to help. Is it possible that your FC drifts lower than 4ppm during the day? I see that you test your FC "Every Couple days". With an algae...

    Salt generator issue

On my machine, the solid red light means that the cells needs to be cleaned and recalibreated after the addition of salt. I suggest you add salt to get to 3200-3400 ppm. (what is the size of your pool) Pool Math will help with the quantity. (see link in my sig) I say to 1) shut off the power...
