This was actually the point of my question. Pouring in front of the return will still involve some stirring in order to ensure proper propagation. While the return valve should take that by themselves ............. P_

Is it OK to pour the liquid clorine directly into the skimmer ? Or you should always pour it slowly in front of the return jets ? P_

My 3 years old plaster pool is fading its color. I've had it plastered with Diamond Brite Midnight Blue. Replastering is out of question , it would take to much money to import the product back, and I am thinking to just paint it ? Is it an insane idea ? P_

Yes they are dark greenish now, but sure they tend to go to the black side. You may be very well right about the PH, it tends to go high and I need to add muriatic acid every second day. But why does it keep going up? It is because I have an infinity edge and the water get aireated overflowing...
