I say drain the 2 inches out and shift the whole pool to the left and get the uprights onto the pads. Otherwise, if you don't you'll proabaly stare at those blocks all summer long....

When we had an Intex, we had a sand filter that had the built in timer as well........That thing only drew about 4 amps...........extension cord 12 gauge will handle that all day long

I agree 100 percent with babeard....that looks exactly like the cap that holds the dry paper element filter in a shop- vac

Thanks Rich....Its only just one hole, the pic makes it look bad! Im just glad i was able to (hopefully) find the reason why its returning sand to the pool!!!

so I found out why my pump has been brodcasting sand out into the pool......broken Lateral. The filter is a week old! Anyone have any success with repairing these? I just dont want to wait to long before waiting for a replacement. I will call the placeI got it from in the morning
