This is our second season with the Dolphin E10i. I've had to replace the base unit twice and now it's stopped working again. I'm told it'll be MONTHS due to a backlog of service work, before we can have the parts to repair it. Not a happy camper.

Yes, I have Skim Doctors and weirs. It is absolutely not a gimmick, Bernoulli principle is pure and accurate science. Works very well even at low pump speeds. Weirs are a necessity with or without the Skim Dr.

59 right now. I heated it a week ago for the youngest's spring break, up to 83. But the weather turned again with a storm, quickly brought it back down after I shut the heat off. Won't start heating again until the temps are consistent out, hopefully by first of next month.

We love the sheer descent, our pool is freeform, but flat on the back. Also a small waterfall from spillover on the spa. I don't like the rock waterfalls, they always look out of place to me. I discourage the use of the sheer descents, because of the pH, however.
