Currently installing a hayward widemouth skimmer onto a curved section of a pool. The skimmer mouth is not curved, but the pool wall is... I'll actually be tightening this until it flattens the pool wall around it, correct? I shouldn't expect any visible gaps around the skimmer on the outside...

Quick update. Said to heck with it, and just installed the screws. They didn't actually penetrate the top stabilizer, rather just pushed the plate upward slightly. It's only a 1/2-inch screw, so it didn't raise it all that much. Still slightly disconcerting with the top plate not being...

Thanks Bama! I was kind of curious what the 1HP single speed would do with such a small pool. Will it feel like river rapids, or nothing so noticeable?
