Beatbot iSkim Ultra Robotic Pool Skimmer

I preordered the Beatbot Aquasense 2 Ultra the other day. They said the first 100 preorders will be shipped on 2/10/25, but I haven't had any shipping confirmation yet. I will update!

Is this Dolphin M500 cord ok to use?

I know this is a problem with these cords, but this is separating. There is a blue cord inside that looks like a normal extension cord. Do you think this is still safe to use or do I need to buy a new one? Sucks they are $200.

IC60 false low salt warning prevents IntellipH from injecting acid.

Great video re: cutting the white wire so the IC defaults to assuming the pool 77degrees so that salinity isn't miscalculated! I just may try that. As you know, the salt cell does not produce chlorine when the water is below a certain level. I keep my pool open year round in a cold winter...

IC60 false low salt warning prevents IntellipH from injecting acid.

I have an intellipH that is supposed to inject a small amount of muriatic acid hourly into the pool. But since my Intellicenter and IC60 think my salt is only 2600ppm (it's really 3700, tested via several different methods), the intellipH has a "low salt" warning and won't inject the acid. I...

    Another IC60 + IntellipH failure

I wanted to add that the first problem I ever noticed with my intellipH was the same thing Zaffor said was happening with his unit in the below linked thread--The IntellipH would be frozen with “SUPERCHLOR” written in the panel. After a reboot, it would kick it out of that mode. I, like...

    Another IC60 + IntellipH failure

Excellent explanation on the problem and why it occurs, and why this fix should work. Well, I cut the two red wires, soldered them together with a jump wire, and soldered that jump wire directly onto the pin that attaches to the motherboard. Did the same thing for the black wires. My...

    Another IC60 + IntellipH failure

Hello, all. After about 3 years of flawless operation, my IC60 quit working--all lights were off. Long story short, with help from this awesome thread, I discovered that my IC60 wasn't the issue, but there was a burned connector in my IntellipH board. (I confirmed the IC60 was working by...

Leaked entire batch of Perlite (DE substitute) into pool

Hello, I came home from vacation last night and noticed my pool was cloudy and my pump was putting out only 2 gallons per minute. This usually means my filter needs to be cleaned. I washed the cartridge grids and accidentally put it in backwards. It was dark out and I wasn't paying close...

    IC60 dead?

Hello, in July 2019, we installed the pool in my signature and I have always had success running my at around 40% to keep 5 ppm chlorine in my pool. I have never cleaned the cell. This year, I have had trouble keeping chlorine in the pool. I can have it running at 100% and there will be zero...

New hot tub, conflicting water testing results.

Hello, we just purchased a floor model Jacuzzi J-485 that was in use at the store about a year. The company started it up for us and I unfortunately wasn't able to pay attention to it for a couple days, and about 4 days after we had it, it got cloudy and had some build up at the water line...

Pentair MasterTemp 400 burning fuel but not heating water, 8 months old.

There's no vapor coming from the surface. It's relatively warm and humid out (69 degrees now) and water is 73. Looks like we used a hair over 300 cubic feet of gas in 60 minutes. The heater is running continuously and the exhaust temperature is 318 degrees. The temperature has gone from 68...

Pentair MasterTemp 400 burning fuel but not heating water, 8 months old.

Interesting. Pretty certain it's not heat loss, as it was about 77 degrees here today and 66 now. I was not aware of the 40gpm recommended minimum flow rate. I was running at 2200 rpm which was a 27gpm flow rate (but I've never noticed a problem with this before). I cranked it up to 2800 rpm...
