Yes it has a check valve and I believe it’s working correctly but I’ll make sure. new-ish problem. Old blower died over a year ago and I’ve been lazy about replacing. Finally did and now here we are

Just as title says. If equipment is in pool mode & you turn on air blower bubbles come out. switch it to spa mode, turn on blower and nothing. mold blower died a year or so ago, this one is a brand new 2hp. Any ideas?

If I turn the blower on in pool mode bubbles come out the spa just as they should. if it’s in spa mode (when you would want bubbles) they don’t come out. it was suggested I replace the 3 spinning massage jets with regular ones as it could be a restriction issue and the air can’t make it...

That was done after the issue was happening. Jets were removed and checked for blockages. Now, having said that, something might be broke from when they chipped out the old plaster during demo

It’s not a new install though. It’s been there since the pool was installed in 2005. Didn’t become an issue until after replaster.

So just went to make sure check valve was correct and then I removed the blower to look in the pipe. There is a chunk of mulch in there, no idea how, but when I turned the spa on, it was fine, no issue. Wth? Could it be that the blower is old and not making enough pressure to force air...

Sorry, I should’ve said, when the problem first happened it was suggested to look for a blockage. I took the jets off and put a long screw driver in them, while the spa was drained. Never found anything. Originally the spa had 3 massage deluxe jets and 3 regular. I replaced with all...
