My water looks slightly a pale green.

Alright guys I tested my water today, plugged the numbers into the calc and then got confused. FC=25 CC=0 TC=25 pH=7.2 T/A=30 CYA=120 Any suggestions? A couple of nights ago I dropped my bag of baking soda into the pool. The next morning the pool turned into a nice shade of pale green.

Sorry, I meant Baking soda. lol At my work I deal with soda ash. Can I get that at walmart or do I need to go to a pool supply place? Thanks for the help.

I'll double check but I haven't noticed any water leaking out anywhere. I had a friend that works on pools help me and I know we were very careful. Who knows though we might have. Thanks

Ok it just got done raining here and I have new results. Also when doing a CYA test it says when the black dot disappears to stop filling the tube. What does that mean? Disappears because of the bubbles or is the water supposed to be cloudy or what? I'm confused on that part. PH:6.8 FC:4...

Yeah you are correct. I do have chlorine tabs in my chlorine tower (not sure what you call it). And my dad told me to add shock 73% hypochlorite to it last night. I added a 1lb bag. Probably shouldn't have done that. The PH looked to be the darkest pink so I'm guessing around 8.2.
