What I think contributed to it was when the dealer sent the tech out to replace this pump a couple years ago, he only installed the outer two lag screws. There were no screws in the two back side slots, its pretty difficult to get at on the back side of the motor so I think he just gave up on...

tub is 8 yrs old, Master Spa Twilight series. There are intakes in the foot well so I'm assuming this thing would have pumped the tub down even after the filters were sucking air?

I went ahead and re did the new pressure coupling using the same method. Do you recommend rigig pvc or flex to make up the rest of the way to the pump, would only be a couple short bushings

The pressure 90 I have available locally are not a sweep at all but a sharp 90, street ell pictured

Would the 90 ell be pressure rated? The one I cut out looked like a regular dwv type fitting.

Well may not have a choice, I tried to pull the dwv coupling off no go. Can't budge it. Should I give it a try or cut it off. Don't b ave much flex to work with
