Called DSP and they are sending me a new cell

Bought a rj45+ and just installed it It ran maybe 5 min and threw a temp code so I reset it and turned it back on then water temp went down into the 30s and blew the fuse. The act water temp is 75 So I put a new fuse in and the cell volts are 1.5 to 1.8 and blew that fuse in 30 seconds...

Yes it brushes right up I started another slam yesterday Last time I did the slam and passed everything I brought my chlorine up to 24 and let it drift back down to normal and the algae came back within two days so my question is once I bring it up to 24 do I keep testing and keep it at 24...

Still kind of new to pools When I turn my pump off all the water rushes back into my skimmer, pretty sure that’s not suppose to happen. Any ideas?

I’m installing s new skimmer Should I backfill around skimmer with dirt and then pour new deck with concrete or should I backfill with all concrete around the skimmer. I have concrete walls if that makes a difference pic is old skimmer
