So I just tested and the FC level is five, so the Chlorine I added last night has not been used up. Do I still SLAM to get rid of the algae that comes back everyday in the wrinkles of the liner? Is that normal?

Thank you, the water does look better. I was afraid to backwash the filter that often, so I’ll do that. As for brushing, I’ve done it a couple of times. It looked dirty on the sides, but looks and feels clean now. Should I still brush? I’ll start testing every two hours and see how it looks.

We would love that. Trouble is if we convert to a salt water chlorine generator it voids the lifetime guarantee on our pool. Our water is looking great now though, with daily testing and two quarts or so of 10% bleach.
