the water for the cya test was a smidge cloudy not too bad though. so i need to purchase stabilizer (cya) and add how much of that for a 24 foot above ground?

Good Morning all.... Ok I tested the water...and btw....that water is COLD! lol FC - .5 ----I say that because it was just about totally clear with not much trace of yellow in the water PH 7.8 CYA ----> 30? this little test seems to give me problems and have a problem making that little...

I have a Avalanche Jaccuzi pump - I have a 24 ft above ground vinyl pool that is 52" high. My problem is the pump is so loud! The water is flowing freely , I have great power from the jet, but the motor on the pump is obnoxiously loud! Can anyone tell me what I need to do?

Thanks Nod---that is exactly what I needed to be told. Will go online and purchase a new testing kit and add more bleach and cya.

Do I add large amounts of bleach each day or all at once?

No I have not added any CYA yet. The testing kit is made by hph...the company that sells the pool chemicals. But when I do the test how they say - it says wait till the black dot disappers...well the black dot never disappers. The test cost me $30 - so its not a cheap one? So I will add more...
