Yes- I use a solar cover. And no, I only have 1 empty space in my breaker box. I have 2 heat pumps for the house and other stuff. I really don't want the added expense, but a couple weeks at each end of the season would be nice.

I use solar panels now with great success, but would like to extend my short pool season with a heat pump at the beginning and end of the season. Are there any 110v heaters out there for my 24ft aboveground pool? I would need a big electrical upgrade to do a 220v.

I have e few rusty spots on some of my top rails. Does anyone have suggestions on what type of paint I should use? Usually I don't like to paint, but Im gonna do this in the pool with a small brush... just a few spots.

I am correct, though, right? My combined chlorine is calculated by subtracting Free Chlorine from Total Chlorine? I will eventually get the CC down to <0.05, right?

My alk is high at 120 but my pH is low at 6.4. according to the calculator I add muriatic acid to lower alk. do I then aerate to raise pH or add borax?
