Thanks - it is more of a 45 but it still kinks a bit. I may just have to wait it out this year and prepare better if I ever have to do this again.

Hi, My replacement cell is still a month or so away. However, if it's easy to disassemble and put it back together, I can do it on Sunday. I just haven't taken one apart yet so not sure what I'm in for.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here has a solution to stop my hose from kinking up when it exits the pool. I'm sure it's slowing down the discharge rate.

I'm going to be getting a new one soon anyways, I'll send you one of the outside plates when I do. It will be at least a month though. You've already been through several iterations and can probably test it better than I can. I'm also keeping an eye on ebay, maybe I can find a broken one cheap.

yes, you are correct, it was amps. The pins on the outside and under the screws are fine. It's the connection to the plates that has eroded. I don't have pictures on me but I can get some once we open it up in April. Thanks for the help, looking into replacement options now.

@JamesW asked to keep a log to help track the decline and I did. I was lazy though in typing it out into excel, better late than never I guess. In any case, it was surprising to see the numbers bounce up and down so much. The cell was producing at the end, just not sure how much since demand...

Do you remember where the water level was? It's meant to rest on top of a lowered water line. Mine is about 18" below the coping and looks similar to yours. I think as long as it's being supported by the water you are fine. I can get a pic tmrw if you want.

Are you able to compare your foam with the one on the dealers showroom? I'm guessing if theirs is significantly better it can only.help your cause.

I cleaned the plates with vinegar and they look very clean now. There is a small amount of build on the center plate and 1 outside plate both a very small amout at the edge and very hard. I also verified I am out if the warranty. Reverse is consistently around 5.7 and normal is around 4.3 with...

Used a bamboo skewer and a little vinegar and got most of it off. Now it's showing 4.6 in reverse so that doesn't seem to have helped but no error message. I guess I'll monitor for a while and check with the pool company on the warranty... Any thoughts on what caused the scale since I'm always...
