    Hayward Panel out again!

My current limiters came in today! As usual the most difficult part of the job is desoldering the old part. Once done, the rest is a breeze! Job took about an hour or less not counting the quest for tools. New diagnostics: 1. 86 2. 25.4 3. 5.94 4. 31 P 5. -2800 6. AL-0 7. r 1.58 8. t-15 – Glenn

Can someone tell me what this is please?

Just a guess based on the picture, if you have a pool with a shallow and a deep end, those could be locations for attaching a floater line at around the 4' mark. -- Glenn

Dual Speed Pump Panel Identification/Replacement and SWG Wiring

I have the pictured dual speed pump pool panel. Primary timer is mechanical with high speed secondary timer as a DIP switch. Also has two slide switches for Manual-Off-Auto for both High and Low speeds. The High speed slide switch is very touchy-- if not set just right, the pump will cycle on...

    Hayward Panel out again!

I’ll be placing an order soon. Sort of considering getting a spare board so I can do a quick swap then take my time with replacing the limiter. Knowing me I’d lose it before the next failure.

    Hayward Panel out again!

I had the chlorination switch off and only the LCD and power indicator were on. Switching to on, generating light was on about 10 seconds and both power and generating LEDs went out. Diagnostics, with chlorination switch on, but no lit LEDs: 1. 86 2.15.4 3. 0.00 4. 30 P 5. - 0 6. AL-0 7. r...

    Hayward Panel out again!

Thanks for the reply. This is what I ordered 2 years ago... https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/ametherm/AS32-2R025/570-1105-ND/2614388 I bought two at the time. I’m hoping I was smart enough to tape the other inside the panel for safe keeping. Trickiest part for me was desoldering...

    Hayward Panel out again!

It seems like about every other year my Hayward Swimpure SWG panel goes on the fritz. Each time it’s the same- no power except for the LCD, but if I throw the breaker and back the power goes on until it tries to start generating. The last time I researched the issue to a thermsistor and...

TF-100 Here! Now where to start?

Finally done slamming! I had the CYA up to 30 and was bringing the FC to 12. Unfortunately during the work week it would get down to 4 so I started to run the SWCG during the daytime only to help maintain levels. Hard part was due to the crumbling and separation of the top layer of plaster...

SR Smith Pool Slide w/ Hail Damage

Thanks Joel! Just saw your reply; still getting used to the forum and how it notifies. Got some reading and watching to do! One other thing I need to do is to replace the valve that controls the slide. The internal mechanism is stuck in the ON position. Unfortunately I'll have to dig in the...

    Dichlor to increase CYA

Hi everyone. I've been slamming for about a week. Prior to slamming I had brought up the CYA from 0 to just under 30. Been bringing FC up to 12 with 10% liquid chlorine. Water is now clear and this morning CC was 0.5, but the overnight FC drop was 2 ppm, so I have more to go. Due to work I...
