hey everybody. I am thinking of purchasing a heritage standard thru the wall skimmer from wal-mart. Does anyone know if I will need an adapter to connect the skimmer to the intex hose? And if so, does anyone have a better way to do this than to purchase an adapter? I am not going to hard...

Does anyone have a suggestion on adding swivel connections to my stingray automatic pool vacuum hose? The hose is getting wrapped around itself.

Yes. The problem was that the swg was actually not working even though it indicated it was. Once I leveled it, it started working correctly. I guess the flow was not good enough even though it did not tell me low flow. Anyway, problem solved for now I think.

I bought a used 18x52 ultra frame intex pool and swg. Set up about 2 weeks ago. Everything seemed to be working fine until Sunday. I set the swg to run for 4 hours. Green light came on that it was working. When I checked in on Monday, it was till sitting on 4 hours with the green light...

Cleaned and lubed pump basket lid and gasket. Seems to have helped just a little. Still have the air though. Now to check gasket to the in flow to the pump, I will have to take the pump apart correct? Also, are there any other suggestions? :?

I have not tried that. What should I clean it with? And are you talking about the lubing the gasket on the pump basket lid?

Tried the water test. When I ran water over the pump basket, the air got a little worse?? It pretty much stayed the same when I ran it over the plumbing. And the air is still only coming from the shallow return. Its all really confusing to me. HELP

Hope everyone out there is having a great summer. I have replaced belts and ball bearings on my polaris 380 and have lost one of my e-clips. Hardware store should have them, but does anyone know the size? Might make for a faster trip if I know. Thanks all :wave:
