I had same problem. Having a hard time getting it all vacuumed out. Any ideas about vacuuming heavy material like sand?

Re: Output losing Pressure. FC 5.5. CC 2. TA 80 CYA 85. pH 6.8. My my conclusion of this is I need to bring up pH and down CYA. Do I drain some of the water?

AG, 27’. 1.5h Hayward. No clog in impeller. New umbrella in sand filter. New sand last year. Not very dirty just cloudy. Have to backwash about every hour to maintain pressure. Have never had to do that before. Kid at the pool shop says that’s “ok”. I can’t imagine how because I am...
