Looks like it's just chard at the terminal connection. I have removed the board and going to bring it into have the terminal replaced. I cant seem to get the connection off the board and dont want to mess around with it to much! Will post once job is complete.

OK,couple things that dont look good! The plug that goes into the outlet 110v was burnt! When i opened the sides i also noticed that the black connection to the board was also burnt! First it looks like i will need a new board? second what would cause this. It's plugged into a gfi!

Pumps tries to kick in but it wont!. Any ideas?

yes, yes and yes. Will try to get motor off housing to check impella. One bolt head is stripped??? Cant get vice grips in there either..

ok, Went away for a few day came back to a running pump motor but it's not pulling any water. Could it be the impella? any thing i should try prior to pulling the motor off the housing? (one bottom screw not even sure i can get off)

water is clear after two days. FC holding firm. Will drop the chlorine to normal 7-8. will get the PH up to 7.5 and we should be good.

Cheers, This is simple! Moved to this method early last summer and had the best results in 17 years! Should i keep the FC high until it's clear But i did do a mixture of Liquid and pucks for my weekends away and as a supplement during the week. I ran the auto feeder on 2 ! no other pool...

Ok, Not as bad as expected. After running the filter overnight with cover on! and getting the shock to 20 I pulled cover this AM! Looks good. no major debris not green only a tad cloudy. Will brush and continue to run 24hrs! My question is if it not green or no viable algae do i need to keep...

I changed over last summer and was Very happy. I do believe it filtered better. Using again this year but this will be the first year using at startup! Switched over from DE after startup last year!

Just started the filter, Had it all connected last week. Removed all drain plugs and the pump is circulating fine!!! TC=0 FC=0 PH7.2 TA 70 CYA 60 CH 280 Will get to the store Later today or Sat Am to get DE and Chlorine. Let the process begin :) Based on these numbers should i bring shock...

Ok, Based on the winter and what i have seen by pulling the cover back a tad I know what i face. A green tinted pool! My question to you is can i start to Add by liquid chlorine prior to getting the pump running and taking cover off? I can add and circulate with the sump pump putting the water...

motor out, Pulled front part of wet end off can not spin the impeller? Dumb question, When i removed the thru bolts from the motor to the wet end i can not remove the rest of the wet end from motor. Should that slip off easy? Might bring the motor in to get checked...

draining the tub to take a look around...I know it seemed to loose water(jet) pressure when running over the last few weeks!!
