Deep cleaning pump and the standpipe did not come loose from the head

Ya I am not sure, they must have really had to force it on to get it to look like that! It is the original pipe. Thanks for the tip with the bleach!

Deep cleaning pump and the standpipe did not come loose from the head

I found an online manual and it does not give a depth. We found a YouTube video on the installation of the S-220-T and the pipe certainly does not look like our pipe. We may just leave it until Monday and go to the pool company that installed it and get their opinion. It doesn't make sense to...

Deep cleaning pump and the standpipe did not come loose from the head

Lol....I thought so! :p My hubby did get the pipe off but it took a lot of work due to how far the pipe was inserted in the head. We know now why it was hard to get off.....his hand shows how far it was inserted into the head (over 4 inches) and the damage that was done to the pipe when the...

Deep cleaning pump and the standpipe did not come loose from the head

Hello all! We decided to give our pump a deep clean, the pool is 8 years old and we have never done it. When we removed the head the standpipe was still connected to the head and now has become dislodged in the sand with the laterals still attached. Is there anyway we can straighten the...

Day 19........no real change, I really thought I would have had the algae under control by now, I have been keeping the Shock Level at 25 during the day and up to 30 at night. There is still a green tinge and the algae just keeps coming back. When I backwash I let it run till clear(anywhere...

green pool..repost to the proper board....

I just tested the CYA and its at 50. That's low for a SWG but we're not using it yet and haven't added any salt so should I keep it at 50? I will get my DH to remove the light tonight and give it a swish and a scrub. Will recheck FC in a hour or so.

green pool..repost to the proper board....

Day 16........pool still has a green tinge, algae "pooling" in shallow end and along seams. This morning was by far the most. It almost seems as if I am not keeping ahead of it. I am keeping the pool at a shock level of 25. It's getting frustrating the weather has been warm and we can't use...
