Since the SWG aerates, if I keep adding MA will the TA eventually get low enough so pH doesn't keep rising?

Hmm.. I haven't measured TA in a while but I'd guess it is probably higher than normal. Would that make pH more difficult to lower? I guess I just assumed the muriatic acid would lower both. I'm trying to get to 7.6.

Hi All, My SWG manual suggests a CYA of 30. The CDC's guidance is 15ppm max, and I see charts like the one below that say anything over 30ppm has very little impact on FC. Why then does TFP recommend twice that for SWGs?
