I'm also in Canada and just got one of these lights today, I have the magnetic ones on a vinyl liner. They are easily movable so I believe I will be taking them in for the winter, especially after seeing your post, thanks for the update

Thanks Jim. Here in Canada our pool season is basically May-September. Once I finish the SLAM I'll see if I can get the SWG with a good flow going at a decent RPM

Ah that's how they justify the recommendation. Makes sense, I doubt they could make a false claim as bad as a 10,000 gallon difference and get away with it

I have no doubt as this seems like the best pool forum on the internet. However, I only went with what the pool company gave me as part of their package

Hi there, my pump went and I believe from your pictures I have the same tub. My question would be the pump that Dreammaker has is 357 but this Gecko one is 232, how did you know the Gecko pump would work?
