Newbie here as well. Although I love it -you need a separate degree to schedule the timer on that pump:).John the pool expert YouTube video of this pump is a lifesaver to walk you through the steps. Still cool here in NY- enjoy that Fl sun!

Thanks for reply’s. They basically screwed up by using a 2x12 form for the bottom step and a 2x10 for the middle step. (Hence the 1 1/2” variation). Ive walked it enough and decided to look past what most people won’t notice. It will meet local code - time to move on
