Question on air in hoses when one inlet is blocked

Wouldn’t adding a valve to reduce some of the suction be the same as me trying to put the plug in it? I’ve tried the plug with no opening and with an opening for reduced flow. And as far as the hose solution, I’m more of a visual gal so do you by chance have a picture of what you are explaining?

And I have tried not plugging a line and it works beautifully. But then the skimmer doesn’t get enough suction because it split between the two inlets and it renders the skimmer useless.

Question on air in hoses when one inlet is blocked

Would you explain to me what you mean by collapsed hose? If you are referring to the one with plumbers tape on it, I literally replaced that after I made this post with a brand new hose and nothing has changed

Question on air in hoses when one inlet is blocked

Question on air in hoses when one inlet is blocked

Questions for you guys. I learned something new every year and this forum has been a great resource. So I have 15 foot Intex above ground pool with the 2800 series Intex sand filter and I just use the basic Intex skimmer basket that hangs over the side of the railing. Yes, one day I intend on...

That is the conclusion I am coming to. And I hate it because they had really good reviews I was hoping buying the newer updated model would solve the issue. No luck

Aiper Seagull drops debris back in pool

I am on my second Aiper seagull, the first one died after three seasons and I guess that should’ve been my red flag to not buy another one. But anyway I just bought a second one thinking it would perform better, but I’m having the same exact problem that I had with the first one. When you pull...

Lets have your robotic vaccuum recommendations!!

Is there not a viable option under $500? Those prices are just out of my budget. I’ve only got a cheap pool lol I wasn’t looking to spend three times as much for the pool on a vacuum

Lets have your robotic vaccuum recommendations!!

They are in Colorado. I am in Alabama that’s an awfully long way to go just to get a pool vac lol And in looking at their site, that’s way more than I’m looking to spend other than they are one cheaper model, all of theirs are $1000 and up I can’t justify spending that for a little cheap $400...

Lets have your robotic vaccuum recommendations!!

Below is what I have. The first year it worked great for getting leaves. This is the second season using it and it really isn’t picking up any leaves. And even as good as it was on the first year, it always always dropped fine particles like sand and dirt back into the pool when you lifted it...
