    I had Ecofinish Aquabright installed in 2017 and I'm very happy about it. It still looks the same as it did 7 years ago.

    My Aquabright pool also looks fabulous. It appears there has been no degradation in the four years since it was installed.

    To use borates or not to use borates, that is the question.

    One advantage of borates I've seen is that it repels bees and wasps. I don't know if this is true, I've only read it.

    I got Aquabright 3 years ago and so far it has been great. The top step had a little bit of peeling because of an emblem underneath it from the pool builder. But it did stop peeling and now I can't tell any difference. Is your pool a new build or a renovation?

    I guess CH is currently zero because when testing it immediately turned blue instead of red. And TA is 20. CYA is zero. Looks like I have some chemicals to add.

    Thank you mickey4paws - - - Updated - - - Thanks bdavis466. Your information on Aquabright has definitely helped me. The Aquabright installer told me the calcium level should be around 180. Is this what you recommend?

    Friday after the Aquabright installation. We decided to go with the "Ice Ice Bay Bay" color. It looks beautiful and feels smooth. Hoping it lasts a long time.
