Atlas (Polaris Maxx, Atlas XT) vs "The Pool Cleaner" /Aquanaut / Phoenix

Looking for a survey / thoughts from people on their performance and maintenance experience has been with these "2" cleaners. Given they come by different names, if you have one of these models (not interested in the MX8) what was your parts requirements and frequency. I plan to buy a new one...

    Jandy Temp sensors

I think NTC are the most common/standard temp sensors, the one I am looking to use is NTC. Better phrasing of the question would have been, "Does Jandy not use a NTC?"

    Jandy Temp sensors

Yes its a 10K thermistor, I just wasn't sure if the Jandy sensor was also a "NTC". Jandy seems quite intentional in not sharing technical info on their products. The wire is only 24" so I was planning to properly solder on an extension to reach automation box.

    Jandy Temp sensors

Does anyone know if the Jandy temp sensors are NTC Thermistor Probe. I wanted to use this probe (Probe_tech_sheet) to replace a Jandy 7785 sensor. Has anyone used this sensor to replace a Jandy sensor? Thanks for any info Ken

    Air in pump basket

They disappear to my knowledge only because the water level in the backet area drops to the point that it is below the lid seal area (is that normal?) Thanks, Ken

    Air in pump basket

Topic split from this thread air-in-pump-basket-t19261 by moderator for better response I have what I believe is a simular issue but want clarification. With pump running I can shine a flashlight (night time is easier to see) into the pump basket lid and I see "Champaign" bubbles. Is that...
