Round matrix pool and liner question

We just installed a new liner in our pool and went j hook because we thought it would be easier to DIY. The only tip I have is that it had to be stretched. We started putting it on the wall and it didn't fit, had to go back have someone stretching and pulling while someone else installed the...

    Painting solar panels....

K... New plan of action... :) would black plastic underneath help? Or would I need something thicker? A quick run to lowes for some fittings and I can switch them to parallel. Thanks everybody for the input, will let you know how it goes. :)

    Painting solar panels....

not sure which brand, but just a 4 x 20 setup. Hubby could build it, but unfortunately right now he's working 11 hrs a day 6 days a week (on midnights) so I don't think building it ourself right now is worth it. Tomorrow I'm going to change out the intex filter for a new one. It's not dirty...

    Painting solar panels....

Thanks Isaac. Need to do some more thinking. How long do the solar panels usually last?

    Painting solar panels....

Okay, my solar panels are about 7 years old and still going strong with no leaks. :) But..... this year they are just not raising the temp as much as usual. Above ground pool LED light

Picked up 2 of the same ones as Durf at Kmart for $13 each. One would have been plenty for a soft glow in my 18' AG.

New Pool Build - Nashville suburbs

usually may to sometimes end of september. I heat with solar, which isn't up and running yet. We don't cover our pool, just drain it down. Ours is already open and the water is already 72 degrees.

    draining pool

I have used the vacuum hose to drain. I stick it through the skimmer and down to about the level I want to stop at. It's a little harder to get the syphon started, but drains the water way quicker than garden hoses.

    Rain, Rain, Go AWAY!!!!

sometimes a sense of humor is the only thing that gets you through times like this. :) We were lucky, only the pool and outbuilding got water in them. And suprisingly, after being underwater for two days in a row, both the pool pump and the intex pump are running this morning. I'm amazed...

    Rain, Rain, Go AWAY!!!!

so glad it's sunny here this morning......we flooded both Saturday and then again Sunday. My pump was most of the way underwater on Saturday. Suprisingly enough, Sunday morning, both main pump and the intex I use for solar panels both fired up.....hoping they do today. Haven't been able to...
