Isnt that robot mfg by Dolphin? Did you register the robot? If so I would call up the mfg to get it troubleshot or replacement of parts.

I have the active 30i. so much better than the suction side imo. I have a 3HP Pentair VSP and it bothered me that went the suction cleaner was on, it would mess with my skimmers suction. When using the suction side I had to have my pump at 60GPM in order for the suction side cleaner to climb...

I’m definitely no expert but if they are identical why not exchange the cables too and see what happens. Does the problem follow when you change the cables too?

do any of the robots go up stairs or will do a sun shelf/Baja step. I have a 9’ x 10’ shelf that is 8” -10” deep. Wondering if they would work in that shallow of water or make it’s way up there.

I have a question or two as I have a suction rebel... do you leave it in every day or remove it? do you need to remove/clean the filters after every cleaning?

Everything that runs through the circuit probably adds some resistance along with turns/curves in the pipe. You can run the pump and turnoff the swg. Do you still get bubbles?
