    Heater opinions requested

I have a 1yr old Raypak 400k LP heater which has been great so far and also the only LP heater recommended by Several good pool places in my area. I will say the inside still has some rust spotting which is odd for something so new. Good luck with your heater

To cover heat pump or not ?

I cover my both my heaters and pump with a tarp but just the top not the sides. Keeps the snow and ice off but lets air flow so excess moisture stays away. Seems to work pretty well.

    spill overspa cover

Hi Gang, I have an inground pool with a spill over spa. I put a 55x35 tarp on my pool and I put a 12ft round tarp on my spa and overlap to the pool. Is this proper or is there a better way to close the spa? (besides a custom cover). Also is there any brand of cover that stands out? Thanks

adding heat pump doubles filter pressure

I have a manual bypass for the Hayward heat pump and when enabled the pressure goes down. What would be a normal expectation for the addition of the heat pump as far as pressure goes? Im guessing its not 10 correct? Thanks for your reply!

adding heat pump doubles filter pressure

Hi new to this forum so hopefully explaining this correctly. Before I added my pool heaters my filter pressure was at 10 after backwash and new DE. I then added a Hayward heat pump and a Raypak propane heater. The Raypak has a built in bypass however the Hayward does not. It appears that the...
