Just an update for those with future issue. I replaced the roller assembly today. Before replacing the inside of the old one was basically rounded to a perfect circle, but the new one had the D indentation so it would get better grip on the D shaft. New one worked perfectly like new...

Alright I thought it might be roller assembly. I probably stripped it or just normal wear and tear stripped it. I bought a new one so will give it a shot when it comes.

Yeah it is hollow it seems. It has no water in the winter, but if it was holding water in this hollow area it definitely could have frozen. Figure it might crack the plastic instead of making a hole, but if that is the weak spot it is possible. All of the skimmer screws were tight so I didn't...

My best guess is a drop of muriatic acid. Not sure how, but that is my only logical thought. I don't remember the last time using it.

Yeah does have a clean cut / melt appearance. Nothing hot I know of has been there. Just wrenches and screw drivers when hooking it up. Guess I need to fill the hole / patch it.

Yeah I looked back on some pictures and videos I took and none of them have that hole. I am very baffled.

    Circupool vs Sunseeker

I would stay away unless you can find the manufactures website.

    Alarms

Seems to be a dead thread, but something I'm interested in. Anyone buy something and have a follow up? Would be nice if there was like an underwater motion sensor, but this area of consumer products appears to be full of subjective opinions and no sure winners.

    Dolphin E10 Review

I have the Active 10 which is the same as the E10. Very good robot. I don't ever manually vacuum ever. I put it in the pool on a warm day to get the leaves from winter and it is sparkling clean while other pools around me are green pits or not even opened yet. Sure it costs $500 or so and...

    Winterizing without winter cover

I know I'm very late. But don't cover your above ground pool. Waste of time. I tried one year and it was a cluster duck. Looks better, less maintenance, and makes closing and opening much easier. I don't have a debris issue so it remains clean. I know many others that close early, cover...

    Winter cover above ground

I vote for no cover. I didn't do a cover last winter and it was fine. Previously the wind made it a headache and scuffed the Crud out of the rails. I simply drained the pool under the return. Then I put a cap on the return so by the time spring came it was filled up again. I used 1 quart...
