I'm pretty sure I've found the leak. It's a dime sized, u shape tear on the side wall in front of one of the support pillars. I'm letting the water drop to it now to confirm. What's the best way to repair, and where can I find the supplies?

Let's hope it's higher up! Although there is a damaged spot where a chlorine puck fell out of the floater and sat on the pool floor a couple of years ago. Any tips on making a liner tear easier to spot?

Thanks for the reply. I read the article. I'm sure this is not evaporation as it was a sudden change without any significant change in weather. For reference I haven't had to add water all season except for times when my kids have done excessive splashing. It is now dropping 1-2 inches in 24...

I'm losing 1-2 inches per day from my pool. So far it doesn't seem that be going below the outlet jet, but that may be just because I haven't let it go long enough without adding water. I let the chlorine dip low for a couple of days, so I shocked the pool and brushed the walls and pool floor...

Might do a DE add in the filter - this seems to help me get the last bit of cloudy out of the pool!

The liner looks like it might have shrunk some...I've attached an image. Also the bottom foot of the liner appears to have turned more a more whitish color. Is there something that I need to do while I'm filling up the pool for the best results?

I didn't realize that I shouldn't drain my AGP for the winter. It's been empty for about a month and a half. What should I do now?

There seem to be two types - one that is growing and fuzzy and one that starts on the wrinkles and seams of the liner but follows the line/seam and doesn't look fuzzy. I'm heading out to see if I can trap some now. I'll have to head out to the store to get some more bleach before starting a SLAM.

I'll see if I can get some out - it looks to be sort of a brownish color and is very fine. If you brush it lightly it comes off the pool floor very easily and just disappears into the water without making it look cloudy. After several hours it accumulates again, always in exactly the same spots...
