I see it is recommended to use a commercial pump sprayer. I am not a professional and don't intend to buy a commercial sprayer. What type of sprayer would also work?
My salt level is slightly out of range (3000) but still within range for my SWG (not showing low salt on IC40). I'll be closing in about a month, is it a waste to add 40lbs. of salt now? Will I just lose it all over the winter? Should I just wait to add when I open up next spring? I will...
I would stay away from the iChlor30 and get the intellichlor IC40 or IC60 if you go with Pentair. Their warranty is 2 year if self install and 3 years if installed by professional. I have been very happy with my IC40.
About 1-2 degrees an hour. I'll kick off the heater at around 7 in the morning andy by 12-1 its at a good temp. But once Lat Aug/Sept hits, you will need several more house because of how cool it can get overnight.
Not sure if this helps, but I am in Central NJ and my gas bill for July was $31 (for the entire house) and I used my heater on weekends only. I also have gas stove, dryer and water heater, not sure what the breakdown is between all gas appliances.
You mentioned raising your CYA. Depending on where it's at, you might be better served waiting until after you finish the SLAM process so you don't have to maintain a high Chlorine level (during the SLAM process)
