Yes, pump runs fine at 3450. Lowered RMP down to 2500 and still having the same issue

The pump runs run fine until we turn on the shear descents. We’ve turned them on with and without automation. We use ScreenLogic.

So this morning I noticed the cleaner in a different location and all the leaves it cleaned up over night. Went out and successfully removed the cap and the shaft turns just fine. Turned the pool on and stared up the cleaner and all seems to be fine now. No humming at all. So strange!

That thing does not want to come off. I may have to pry it off.

Dumb question, do I have to unscrew it to see if the shaft turns?

Thanks! I will give it a go and order a new one. Seems like an easy fix. Hopefully this is the issue.
