I vacuumed the pool yesterday and added 3 lbs of quick dissolving shock which has 55.5% available chlorine. 24 hrs later, water still cloudy - when I tested for bromine, it is off the scale high. I'm still really confused. Can I test for dmh?

How long have you had the triton for and where did you get it? Not very many replies on this.

Thanks for you help. So how should I proceed? Keep the bromine feeder and buy a chlorine floater? I still don't understand why my bromine levels are low. I know the bromine is dissolving in the feeder - it has to be going in the water.

if you get the same sun I do, you'll be sealing every year. I have it nailed down and can tell you how to do it. make sure you get all the information off the sealer the contractor uses - you'll want to stay with the same stuff.

That's the pattern I have - pretty close in color too. FYI - I do get full sun so my sealer gets wiped out - first year I re-sealed myself without using traction in the sealer; when wet it was like walking on ice.
