I was going to buy a dolphin triton plus - ended up buying the M500. Spent a little more than I wanted, but like the 3 yr bumper to bumper warranty. Do you guys leave the pool covered with the bot is running? What about the pool pump, do you leave the pump running? New to this robot life style...

I vacuumed the pool yesterday and added 3 lbs of quick dissolving shock which has 55.5% available chlorine. 24 hrs later, water still cloudy - when I tested for bromine, it is off the scale high. I'm still really confused. Can I test for dmh?

How long have you had the triton for and where did you get it? Not very many replies on this.

Seems from this site, Dolphin is the best brand name. Found the Dolphin Triton on Amazon for $845.00. Thinking of picking one up. Does anybody have experience with this unit?

Thanks for you help. So how should I proceed? Keep the bromine feeder and buy a chlorine floater? I still don't understand why my bromine levels are low. I know the bromine is dissolving in the feeder - it has to be going in the water.

if you get the same sun I do, you'll be sealing every year. I have it nailed down and can tell you how to do it. make sure you get all the information off the sealer the contractor uses - you'll want to stay with the same stuff.

That's the pattern I have - pretty close in color too. FYI - I do get full sun so my sealer gets wiped out - first year I re-sealed myself without using traction in the sealer; when wet it was like walking on ice.

I'll take a few pictures of my set up so you can see. It does get hot, but I do think it looks nice and would not make any change to the color (my Wife wouldn't let me anyway).

I have a light brown stamped pool deck that get full sun. It does get hot, but it looks good; not a lot of options. The problem I have is keeping it properly sealed. We put the pool in 4 years ago and I've had to reseal it every spring. I'm thinking the sun is wiping the sealer out.

I have a jandy water colors LED that has gone dim. When first installed, it was bright enough to light the whole pool. Now you can barely see the deep end at night. The light is only 2 1/2 years old. Any suggestions?
