I have a lot of trees around which drop a lot of pollen and debris in the pool. I am backwashing quite frequently (When I notice the pressure getting high on my filter) and I've heard this product is supposed to relieve that.

I'm considering adding one of those multi cyclone filters to my pool. I have a DE filter so I'll need a bypass for the multi cyclone, wondering if anyone has done this or has a good implementation of it. Wondering what valves to use and such.

I'll also say that my timer hasn't moved for about two weeks but the pump has only been acting weird since yesterday. Timer is getting 120v and manually clicking it changes the pump from hi to lo mode, no idea why it isn't moving unless its a 240v timer? I don't think so because the wiring is...

My pump seems to me moving water in high mode but it just won't build pressure in the filter or seem to move enough water in the pump to clear the water bubble in the top of the pump. I don't know if this is related but my pool timer clock isn't working either, it won't turn despite the fact...

Thank you for the tip! I was able to find the part at Inyo and a few other suppliers. In the comments people mentioned that the bottom is not being made thicker so they had to make some new fittings for it, do you know what they are referring to?

It definitely leaks more when the pump is running on hi speed. I can't detect any leaking when the pump is on low speed. I was able to get under it this morning and through one of the holes in the feet I can see water on the bottom of of the filter vessel dripping down to the concrete pad. I...

The pictures are of my DE filter, there is a water leak somewhere. Water pools at the base as you can see, I've checked and verified that it is not leaking from the relief valve on top or the seal in the middle. Its not leaking from the drain plug ( put a bowl under that), and its not leaking...
