    Paver Quesstion

I just put up that same pool using 3/4" foam. What I did was leveled an area a bit bigger than the pool with my neighbors skid steer (whew!) and then had gravel screenings brought in. I fine tuned the area with the screenings and the board w/level like in your picture. I put the 3/4" foam...

Adding a Hayward Thru-the-Wall Skimmer to Intex Metal Frame Pool (PICS!

Thanks for sharing! This is a timely thread for me as I am planning to install mine this week. Quick question on the gasket. Is there an advantage to splitting the butterfly gasket vs leaving it intact? I know its probably less work since you would have to remove the skimmer after cutting...

    Intex, Pavers, Foam board?

Hi Mandolina, I'm getting ready to do the same thing with my intex AGP. My understanding is that the goal is to get the legs to sit on the same level as the liner bottom. The way I am planning to accomplish this is to put foam board on level ground and cut out a hole for each of the pavers...

Question about putting up new pool

Thanks Jason, I'll see if I can find a schematic. I haven't opened the box yet so there may be something in the manual about it. Also, thanks for the heads up on the tape. I'm planning to try and leave the pool up for the year so that will be a better option for me. Jeff

Question about putting up new pool

Hello all, I'm hoping to be able to put up my pool in the next couple of days and I have a question about the pavers. I have the Intex 22 x 52. What I have done so far is rough level the area with a skid steer and I have put screenings on top of that. Once I get the screenings compacted and...

    Best pump/filter combo?

I got it from Walmart. One of the stores near me had it in stock. I had actually ordered the 18'x52' from somewhere else but saw that Walmart had the 22' for like $70 more than I paid for mine so I cancelled the order and went with this one.

    Best pump/filter combo?

I just bought the 22' x 52' intex last week and I've been researching the pump / filter issue also. I've pretty much decided to go with the intex 2650 sand filter and the intex swg. The intex 2650 has gotten great reviews and you can't beat the price. To get a better setup than that with...

New Member, New Pool, need pump/filter advice please

Thanks for the info guys. Been researching this afternoon and I think the Hayward setup I would like to get (1hp 2speed with a bigger sand filter as recommended), is a bit out of the budget. I think I am going to give the Intex 2650 a shot this year and see how it does. If I need to, I can...

New Member, New Pool, need pump/filter advice please

Hello all, I'm gearing up for the upcoming season and recently purchased the Intex 22'x52' Ultra Frame. We had the 12' Intex ultra frame for the past couple of years. Last year I upgraded the pump to the Intex sand filter pump (1600) and it worked great. This year we are moving and have much...
