I ordered mine in March and website said in process on the day it arrived. It was under 2 weeks. I can imagine tariffs will be wrecking this for awhile. Many in the group have experienced good communication with them so keep the faith that they will treat you well.

I do feel that the S1/N1 might be improved from water intrusion. In my case I had 2 Seagulls where the charge post corrosion caused failure. I just today received the N1 and the cap on the charge entry seals better than my seagulls ever did. The model is more mature than my seagulls. And...

I think this one might work for you Black Pearl 8Streme Unfortunately I have not found anyone who has owned it. The battery floats with the unit and can be detached to charge elsewhere. I personally stuck with Aiper cause I got a great price but heavily considered this one.

@suzook Going thru the website you can get new sometimes for $519, then wait for discount codes to populate. This gives you a 2 year warranty. Probably best to have a longer warranty versus saving $20.

I was looking at the Scuba S1 and the standard warranty is 2 years so you are adding a year for $60. I think the N1 is a S1 repackaged for retail, not sure. Given water intrusion in recharge port I would think an extra year is worth it. Depends on where exactly you get the warranty service...
