    Cal-Hypo

Yessss!!! Moreover, I am going to fill it only for the inspections. That thing wrecks havoc on o-rings and spider gasket.

    Stains on Pool Walls? Pics

Being a newb, like me, you might miss some issues (I totally focused on rust staining not realizing that I also have calcium precipitation that also bubbles when scrubbed with Vit C tablet). Thence my suggestion to get a kit. Pinch-a-Penny kit is similar to Jack's Magic kit, so I'd get...

Meanwhile, you might want to look into getting stain ID kit. Shipping might take a while.

    Cal-Hypo

Good to know! Thanks for the warning! I am obligated to have a feeder for my school pool, and the thought of using cal-hypo in it did cross my mind. I will not entertain it anymore.

New pump front cover - how bad is this scratch?

Yes, exchange would have been lengthy and the pool had already sat without circulation for 4 days . I decided to turn off the pump: there was a small but solid stream of water gushing from somewhere around drain plug. It was mesmerizing😁 I ended up sanding down entire surface as evenly...

Small leak from glued elbow: patch or replace?

All the pieces above ground seem to be schedule 40. There's not enough pipe length for the line to and from the pool to see what kind it is. Is there another way to check? Assuming in-ground pipes are schedule 40, if I replace all aboveground parts with schedule 80, would that make in-ground...

Small leak from glued elbow: patch or replace?

Also, since I've got attention.of you all, would you please help me with this suspect? I have problem with Jandy Neverlube to select input from skimmers and floor drain. Locking "teeth" on the handle are worn out and it can be turned rather easily when the set screw is tightened. Is it a...
