    Snake skimmer line

Thanks for the replies. I might try the jet drain. The reason I think it’s a clog is because it is significantly less suction, i get debris in my skimmer basket that shouldn’t be there, and if I drop an item like yellow plastic in the skimmer, it doesn’t make its way to pump basket immediately...

    Snake skimmer line

I have an inground pool and one skimmer doesn’t have as good of flow as the other one. I was going to snake it, but the line underground looks corrugated, not a PVC pipe. I stuck a borescope down there, but couldn’t get it far down the line due to the elbow. For reference, the pool was built...

Yes to turning off the pump before switching settings. Thanks for the replies. I’ll find another brand.

    Spider Gasket Deteriorating

I’ve been getting about 2 years per spider gasket on a 2” Sta-Rite multi valve. It turns gummy, sticky, and starts falling apart where it comes in contact with the water on the filter setting. I’m assuming this is from the chlorine. I don’t use any other chemicals. I use Pentair branded...

    Endoscope recommendation

I’m looking for an endoscope that can make the turn inside a standard 1-1/2 elbow. I have one, but the head is too long to make the turn. Does anyone know of a brand & model that can make the turn? I’d like to be able to see inside my lines to track a leak.

Vinyl liner pulling away in corners

Is this how it's suppposed to lock in the channel? If so, I don't think I'm getting it inverted in the channel. His picture says it's for a above ground though.

Vinyl liner pulling away in corners

Thanks for the responses. I got some boiling water and was able to get the liner back in the track, but it won't hold. The liner is too tight and it just pulls out the corner. Are there different tracks and liner lock geometry - any possibility that they aren't compatible? I don't know who...

Vinyl liner pulling away in corners

Any way to repair this? It’s happening in this corner and to much lesser degree in one more. I can kinda stretch it back into place but it won’t hold. I’ve tried a liner lock product, but it is too thin to get a good lock in the channel.

    Line blow out Question

Based on what I can see, yes. To blow out your skimmers, you would put your blower on that, set your multiport to closed, and do each line at a time by closing one of the two valves. I like to blow air from the skimmer out to the pipe or pump with the lid off. This isn't always possible, but...

    120V vs 240V - Superflo VS Pump - More efficient at 120V?

Looking at the Superflo VS pump specs: 115-volt: WEF 7.3 THP 2.2 230-volt: WEF 6.6 THP 2.2 Does this mean it is more efficient at 120V than 240V? I know I'll get a higher flow rate at high speeds at 240V, so I may go that route anyways. Any reason to go for one voltage over the other...
