No the walls are either 42 or 48 for in ground.

I'm finally here to say we will be building our pool this spring! This will be a DIY kit from Pool Warehouse. 18x36 in ground. It appears they only offer 48" walls in steel. That height is our preference, but if corrosion is going to be an issue, we surely will go with the 42" polymer.

I will be looking at a home for sale with an in ground pool on Sunday. It is covered for the winter, unless they open it, but I doubt it. I'm in central PA. How will I know the condition of the pool and are there questions I should be asking the realtor/owner of home?

I spoke with 1 pool builder and got quoted $55K for a basic 16x32 in ground vinyl pool. So disappointing. I don't know if I can justify spending that much money!:(
