Ah I see your confusion lol....I guess in my mind it's all slam as opposed to what I was doing last year. But yeah I'm not actively in the process of slam. Just maintaining my fc levels between 4 and 6.

Looked over the pool care basics again just to make sure and I'm doing everything as recommended....except I do test my cya weekly since it's on the minimum range.

Yes. It is normally at a 3-5 but I was out there adding in the daily chlorine and cleaning skimmers when I found it. So it will have its boost and be back up to at least 3. We are wanting an Inline chlorinator but our PVC pipe that we would be installing it on comes from the filter at a downward angle. Is it ok for the chlorinator to be slightly tilted or will it not work unless its level? TIA
