Quick Question on following the process here

I have an autocover same as you. I've had it since I joined TFP, during my pool build, I'm on my second tarp. I struggled to maintain proper FC levels for years. I ran my stabilizer level between 30-50. I could never really dial in the pump run time and SWCG % time to hit the sweet spot. I...

Quick Question on following the process here

I'm glad you have observed this. Often times when we have a baseball team over i ask one of my kids to grab some goggles and tell me if they can see clearly end to end, 40', if they can i'm good, if its not perfectly clear, its time for me to add some bleach to the pool. Are you using your...

Quick Question on following the process here

@ss32000 tell us more about your vinyl safety cover. Is it an automatic one? Do you keep it open or closed most of the time? I'll assume it is opaque.

New pool build: Auto cover + in floor cleaning + ozone = overkill? (design feedback as well)

I think 6' would be nice, especially with chairs and small kids. I don't think you'll miss the additional 2' length of 3' depth of pool, unless you were planning on swimming laps.

I can't figure out the depth of your pool from diagram.

Probably, these would just fit, no idea what you really want to do https://www.poolwarehouse.com/shop/ledge-lounger-signature-chaise/?attribute_color=White&gclid=CjwKCAjwmv-DBhAMEiwA7xYrd9PHvJXla85Gu-V0vzyzae0M0qcClUtuHWRosagXZlu8DGnF2Ro1FhoCIZIQAvD_BwE

Ours, 18' by 4' was used a bunch by little kids, still used by the dogs. For adults it is not much use. If you wanted chairs to lie in on it you might want it larger. Might also consider a umbrella holder in the middle somewhere.

I would definitely cut ozone and in floor. I suggest you go look at some high end standalone hotbtubs. He won't be able to build one anywhere near to the comfort of one of those. Plus, they are replaceable, where as what you are considering is not really.

New pool build: Auto cover + in floor cleaning + ozone = overkill? (design feedback as well)

Awesome! What brand of autocover? Make sure the autocovers pit has a drain with a debris cover. Your pit will fill up with leaves etc. over time and you don't want the drain to get clogged. We use are autocover as much as the pool. Its great fun for dogs and kids after a few inches of...

    Replacement Heat Pump electrical considerations

I have a Hayward heat pump model number HP21104T which I'd like to replace with a Jandy model JE3000TR. I have two pool companies who have given me a price. My original pool builder has quoted ~$6800, and different company is $7100. The original pool builder is asking that I have an...

Hayward Heat Pump Pro HP21104T Not Operating Properly

So about 30 mins ago it started back up. there is a 24 degree temp difference between ambient temps and air blowing out of the unit (i've never measured one that large but understand humidity and air temp impact this). The temp of the fan casing is now 90 degrees.
