I have a Hayward heat pump model number HP21104T which I'd like to replace with a Jandy model JE3000TR.

I have two pool companies who have given me a price. My original pool builder has quoted ~$6800, and different company is $7100.

The original pool builder is asking that I have an electrician come and determine that my electrical service can handle the new unit. I'm no electrician but the specs seem pretty close.

Current Hayward heat pump https://www.hayward-pool.com/assets...s/HeatPro-Installation-HP2xxxxT-HP2xxxxBT.pdf

Jandy https://www.poolheatpumps.com/documents/brands/jandy/jandy-je-pool-chiller-brochure.pdf

Are they overly concerned? The other pool company asked what breaker I have (50 AMP) and asked if I ever have any breakers tripping which I don't.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

50 amp breaker for your JE3000TR looks fine to me.

Is the disconnect box by the HP in good shape?
