You're right. I need to call my installer today and see if I'm still covered. DIY repair is my backup plan. It also annoys me that Pentair wants you to throw out an entire motor for a $6 bearing, so part of me is dying to pull that thing apart and figure out the bearing size.

lol, thanks for the input, my issue is not with TFTestkits it's this statement in regards to their phenol red r-0014 "Will not work for K-2006 kit".

Yeah that's what I saw but they say that their pH test is not compatible with the k2006. Not sure why, would love to know as I'd love to buy their refill.
